Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
For your security. 365 days a year PELZ is your unique partner in the field of raw material and quality testing
We apply ultrasonic testing to find abnormalities/incompletenesses in the volume of components, materials or welded joints.
The method of ultrasonic testing is mainly used in the industrial field, for example in installation construction, apparatus and container construction, shipbuilding, automotive, railway construction, pipeline construction, in foundries, power plants and chemical installations.
Our Service
We carry out the ultrasound testing for you mobile with emergency vehicles directly in your production and construction sites, as well as stationary at your own locations.
We use digital and calibrated ultrasound devices, which of course meet the highest requirements in terms of quality.
We offer this service for you worldwide.
Our employees are qualified and certified in the levels/levels 1–3 according to the standards ISO 9712 and ASNT-SNT-TC-1A and have many years of experience with a wide variety of raw materials and components.
Phased Array Tests Application Areas
The phased array test (the so-called group radiator technology) is applied to determine abnormalities and/or incompletenesses in the volume of components, materials or welded joints. This technology enables scanning over the structural element and welded joints which is why it can be used as an imaging method.
The method of phased array testing is mainly used in the industrial field, for example in installation construction, apparatus and container construction, shipbuilding, automotive, railway construction, pipeline construction, foundries, power plants and chemical installations.
Our Services
We carry out the mobile phased array testing for you with emergency vehicles directly in your production and construction sites as well as stationary at your own locations.
Digital phased array ultrasound systems are used, if required with mechanized probe guide, for example for validated thin-wall tests of pipelines.
Digital wall thickness measurement ultrasound Application Areas
The digital wall thickness measurement is used to check material wall thicknesses, corrosion and erosion in structural elements and welded joints.
The method of digital wall thickness measurement is mainly used in the industrial field, for example in boiler and installation construction, apparatus and container construction, shipbuilding, automotive, railway construction, pipeline construction, in foundries, power plants and chemical installations.
Our Services
We carry out the mobile digital wall thickness measurement for you with mobile teams directly at your production and construction sites as well as stationary at your own locations.
In this context, digital, calibrated ultrasound devices with A-image display are used to ensure suitable coupling to the structural element. Whether digital wall thickness measurements of single structural elements, up to the testing of several hundred containers in the course of a single audit, our certified inspectors determine reproducible values at any time. We offer you this service all around the globe.
Our employees are qualified and certified in the levels/levels 1–3 according to the standard ISO 9712 and have many years of experience with a wide variety of raw materials and components.
